This will be only for Nvidia users. Should apply to anyone with a RTX 20 series and newer. This can also be applied to many other games! As long as it's supported.
Nvidia App - To override DLSS, use the latest version.
1. Have the latest version of the Nvidia App. If you don't have it and want to try this: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/
2. Latest GPU driver.
If the game is not already add to the list.
1. Open the Nvidia App.
2. Graphics
3. Click the 3 dots > You can either launch the game and close it and click refresh. OR Manually add the .exe/ app file by going to the install location.
Overriding DLSS:
1. Click Monster Hunter Wilds
2. Scroll all the way down to Driver Settings.
3. Look for DLSS Override - Model Preset and click "Use the 3D application setting."
4. In that menu, choose "Use different settings for each DLSS technology."
5. Super Resolution will have become clickable. Do this and choose Latest. Doing so will also choose that latest transformer model, basically always up-to-date DLSS.
Congratulations! You have successfully replaced DLSS 3.7 (version that's used ingame) to the current and latest DLSS 4! Enjoy a crisper image and hopefully a performance boost.
